As a social enterprise (charitable company), Strategic Edge training course fees go towards supporting the following:
- Amalna Foundation for Community Building – runs the Support Center for Women and Children in West Mosul, which has served over 40,000 vulnerable women and children since 2017. The centre provides services in psychological support, child protection, GBV case management, livelihood and recreational activities, and safe spaces for women, children, and adolescent girls.
- Sending medical volunteers to frontline and hard-to-reach areas. In 2017, Strategic Edge funded a Trauma Stabilization Point (TSP) in the Old City of West Mosul, 200 meters from the fighting line, and enabled rapid delivery of medical response to fleeing civilians as soon as they crossed the frontline. The TSP was the first and only civilian frontline clinic at the time.
